Vaccination and Health
|
|
|
Оne
of the main reason that some people scared of travelling to Kenya, and
Africa in
general - it is fear to get some mysterious
disease ...
Stories
about the terrible malaria and yellow fever, "squinting" almost half
travelers - are greatly exaggerated.
Some cases
have been a few decades ago, at the dawn of tourism in Kenya and now they are so
rare that it is easier to get sick with something at home, rather than on
holiday in Kenya. Mosquitos
are less
here than comparatively in
any north
mid town
of anywhere in the world.
Vaccination and prevention are not compulsory
for entry into Kenya, but it is up to you to be
vaccinated or not.
-
For prevention of malaria
rather drink some famous pills Consult with your
doctor or pharmacist.
- You
better
obtain an insurance
valid till the end of your trip to Kenya and
read carefully an Insurance
policy, which should be clearly indicated contact numbers
and insurance cases.
Also during the holiday in
Kenya, we do not recommend drinking tap water and
lunch eatery in suspicious places, do not buy
anything at street fruit and
vegetable market and try to eat only in restaurants in hotels / lodges or
restaurants with a good reputation, such as Carnevore,
Tamarind, and others. |
